Crippling lethargy, basking in torpor,
Posture screaming apathy, idle to stupor,
Hands tucked cozily into pockets,
Pockets that leak out time.
Empty leisure, haunting rest,
A desired but unexplainable laze,
Lounging on a box of ideas,
Knowing the urgency of work,
Oh, wasted knowledge.
Do you need me to remind you;
Of what you already know?
That even the smallest of effort;
Makes a mark,howbeit,weak?
Snap out of that wakeful slumber,
The vacant slot,fill up,
The hoe or a book?
Why not sew? Maybe cook?
See Time, how awfully she speeds.
Idleness births nothingness,
Make the wheels turn,
For if it is comfort you seek;
there must be NO LOITERING!
